Raise your Beer, Toast a Hero: Jeremy McQueary

Let's raise a toast in honor of Sgt Jeremy R. McQueary of Nashville, Indiana.

Jeremy joined the United States Marine Corps soon after graduating from Columbus East High School. During his career, Jeremy deployed four times; once to Okinawa, Japan, twice to Iraq (2005, 2008), and once more to Afghanistan (2010).

Jeremy had a strong love and affection for animals. Because of this, the McQueary Family has chosen to support the Brown County Humane Society through Dog Tag Brewing Foundation.

The Brown County Humane Society is an open admission shelter. They accept any and all of Brown County’s homeless dogs and cats. Because of their incredible staff and innovative programs, Brown County Humane Society has increased their “out alive” rate from a "normal" 30% to an incredible 97%.

Please take a moment today to remember Jeremy, his sacrifice, and his love for our furry friends.
