As a Navy Midshipman, Brendan wrote the mantra he would continue to uphold during his lifetime: “If you make the most of what you are doing, there is NO way to regret what you are doing.” After two deployments, he requested a lateral transfer to Naval Special Warfare. Brendan graduated BUDS (Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training) as the “Honor Man” and was assigned to SEAL Team 3.  To further Brendan’s legacy, his family established the Brendan Looney Foundation.

As Brendan so honorably lived, BLF believes in service to community and country, a foundation of strong character and morals, and a commitment to reach one’s greatest potential in mind, body and spirit.
