Jimmy’s family quotes him as saying, “Everyone has a job, being a soldier just happens to be mine. It’s a job. I just do it.” Regardless of the task placed in front of him, Jimmy was not known to complain. As a Fire Team Leader, if his soldiers lost focus on the mission at hand, Jimmy would voice his signature catchphrase: “SHABOOMS.” To honor Jimmy’s legacy, the Robinsons established Shabooms, Inc.

Their mission is to honor a hero while generating a positive and fulfilling future for growing young adults.  Already, Shabooms has awarded over $38,500 in scholarships within the Middletown community. Dog Tag Legacy Fund is proud to support Shabooms, Inc. with grant funds towards continuing their mission of sharing Jimmy’s legacy within the community.
