Feb. 10, 2017—Bozeman, MT – The Dog Tag Brewing Foundation is pleased to announce $114,700 in grants to support the legacy projects of 27 Gold Star Families in 18 states. These grants are awarded to families who are committed to creating a long-lasting legacy for their lost loved one by inspiring and giving back to their local community.
It is a beer that gives back to our fallen heroes and it is now being sold in Central New York. 100% of the proceeds go to organizations who help carry on the memory of those who have given the ultimate sacrifice.
Almost two years after it was founded, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to remembering fallen soldiers is making a name for itself across the country.
Each can of Legacy Lager honors a fallen service member whose family was selected for a legacy grant. Dog Tag Brewing donates 100 percent of its profits to its Dog Tag Brewing Foundation, which benefits charities created or selected by each Gold Star family chosen for a grant.
